I'll double check the part number with Mitsubishi on Monday just to be sure, and hopefully its a match for that lancerdarryl.

And if they're useless and cant help me, I'll just risk the 70 bucks.

You guys are the best. Really live up to the lancer legend/master titles =)

Im yet to start taking apart the front end to try and get to it. Im hoping Mitsubishi can give me a part number on Monday to save me having to take thing apart and put them back together more than once. Only number I've been able to see is for the igniter - W3T16373 0604 if thats any indication of w...

Seems like it. Thats why I refuse to trade it in to a dealership, haha.

These ballasts are not easy to find either.

Cheers guys. Was hoping to hear it'd be something cheaper and less annoying to take care of. Guess I'll start trying to source a replacement ballast.

9 years of ownership, and no problems until the day it goes up for sale. I think I upset it.
