Re: Electric Power Steering Issues
Having the same issue. Took the cover off the eps module and it seems like there’s burn marks on the copper prongs around the motherboard. Also got codes c1532 and c1533. I did put stock Evo x wheels on my car which only has electronic power steering, no hydraulic. Given the Evo x wheels are larger ...

Re: VLAND Headlights
Yah unfortunately I don’t know how to post videos on here but the DRLs certainly overpower the turn signal

Re: Ralliart bonnet
I recently purchased an evo hood that didn’t come with the little plastic extension or heat shield and was wondering if anyone knows where I could get an aftermarket one. Also was wondering if the Evo coil cover (4 holes) fits the 4b11 (3 holes)? I was thinking of purchasing the clubspec carbon cover

Re: VLAND Headlights
Yah any fuse that has a matching amperage and has ignition power would work. I’m not sure what you guys have in Australia but they are DOT approved here in the US. Seems like you guys get tickets pretty easily based on some of the comments I’ve seen regarding wheel specs and various safety items. I ...

Re: VLAND Headlights
Yah they don’t do any of that. You can’t really see the turn signal unless the lights are off

Re: VLAND Headlights
I bought mine second hand so he could’ve possibly rewired them or maybe they make them different in different markets. What size fuse splitter does it have? All you do is find one the same size and that comes on with ignition and you’re all set

Re: VLAND Headlights
No fuse for the DRL, just turns on with parking lights. H7 LED Headlight Bulb, EASY EAGLE... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0856Y79CH?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share I believe these are the bulbs I used. It doesn’t state that they are dual beam but when I hit the high beams they do get much brighter. Just a he...

Re: VLAND Headlights
Quick update: had to replace my headlight bulbs because I got a faulty pair. Just went out to check and they do have a high beam, I’m guessing it’s a dual beam not 100% sure as I didn’t feel like staring into them but I was wrong when I said there was no high beam

Re: VLAND Headlights
Just installed a pair of these on my car, been wanting them for a while now. As far as I can tell there is no high beam function and the DRLs are activated by switching on the parking lights. Kind of annoying but these lights look amazing

Re: Driver window seems to be coming off the track
Nice, I was considering adding the power mirrors down the line but at this point just focusing on getting it back to a reliable car that doesn’t make noises so I can sell it without problems lol. Same, I remember when I first got the CJ I couldn’t believe I had to take the whole bumper off to take t...

Re: Driver window seems to be coming off the track
Maaaaan, I’m confused but it’s still working so I’m not asking any questions just put my door card back on, leave it alone and enjoy simple functions I took for granted before they stopped working

So that back and forth noise seems ok to you? And by small clamp you mean the closest to the engine?

Re: CV Axle/Tie rod/sway bar link noises
I’ve kind of given up on the car at this point and pretty much hoping to just fix all the little bugs so I can try to sell it. I’m still getting the popping noises from time to time but I took a closer look at it today and attached a video. Hopefully this can help someone with more knowledge than me...

Re: Driver window seems to be coming off the track
Can’t really tell as it’s pretty hard to see in there. But another edit: that worked for about 4 hours total then started messing up again. However I did notice that one specific arm of the regulator had some abrasion that none of the others had. Figuring it probably bent and started rubbing the ins...

Re: Driver window seems to be coming off the track
Quick update. A junk yard near me actually had a CJ lancer in which is pretty rare in my area so I ran down there and grabbed a regulator and quickly realized the front side of the window was completely outside the track and it actually scratched some of my tint off. Was able to pull it out and rese...
