Does anyone from what type of plastic the Lancer VR bumpers are made? I'm considering some mods to the bumper but I don't feel like taking the bumper off just to see what it's made out of.

Recently I had to brake pretty hard on the highway, causing my brakes to stick. My car started shaking, made grinding noises and the pedal sunk a bit.
