Re: Ralliart Shifter in NA Lancer
Looking forward to this if anything comes up. Was also thinking of changing the shifter trim area, or adding the shifter boot, but then ran into problems with the auto shifter not moving or not being able to see the drpn signals. You could always look at the main dash but thats also a bit shifty.

Re: Center Console Buttons
I pulled out the centre console coin holder, and there's some wires taped underneath. Are these for optional usb power? Is it possible to just plug and play the switches/usb connections? 2017 lancer es These wires may be for higher models i.e the Evo. Here is what is hooked up there in my 2010 Evo ...

Re: Engine System Service Required
Was the mechanic a Mitsubishi service centre?
After replacing the variable valve timing did you scan the code again when it came up? Any other codes being thrown?
Any aftermarket mods, I know you said stock but is there any exhuast, intake things you have added or previous owner added?

Re: Work Boot Advice
So got some new work boots yesterday and being size 13 it doesn't leave much room in the CJ. https://i.imgur.com/fPEgvBh.jpg I got them at Lowes on a clearance price (less than $50) but I might need to get something else. Before I had (still got) some ones from Kmart, Jackaroo work boot which looks...

Re: Is this legal - 4th brake light?
This is pretty cool. My lancer doesn’t have a 3rd brake light, but I would have to check NSW roads and maritime legislation before doing anything. I’d probably place mine under the rear bumper. Good food for thought imo It should have one,in the bootlid Can't believe I didn't notice this! there's a...

Re: New Lancer Owner ( 2 Months Old )
Just a minor update here. Finally got some weather-shields on. Nice black colour and for $55 too, good quality. StreetElement had them for $75. From CTAutoParts in Wetherill Park, they sell lights and some other stuff for mitsubishi lancers, great people, installation for $10 if your as lazy as I am...

Re: Workspace Threat
I could use a couple of concrete strips up the side of the house. A small 3x3 shed is better than nothing, mine is 2x4 so you're a whole square meter ahead LOL haha I feel the pain. Yeah, gonna slap the 3x3 slab at the end where the driveway and grass meet and call it a day. It's impossible for bot...

Re: Workspace Threat
Update here. I've kind of worked out a solution for this, feel free to chime in on your opinions. So with summer approaching, I decided to take the plunge and install a concrete slab with 1 of these 3x3 shed at Bunnings warehouse; https://www.bunnings.com.au/absco-sheds-3-x-3-x-2-06m-zinc-economy-do...

Re: Workspace Threat
say you are working on the front of your car, you could put the back of the car onto the grass where the dirt is on that photo and jack up the fron on the flat driveway. provided it isnt muddy or dewey when you are doing it the back of the car should hold, i would buy some wheel chocks though just ...
