A quick update, bought the seats and put them in, took less than half an hour, 4 bolts and 2 plugs exact match to standard, no airbag warning lights.

Thanks for the advice, best $200 i have ever spent. That's right $200 for almost new EVO X recaro front seats with aitbags, i am very happy.

Wrong rubber bit. There is a rubber piece under the damping ajustment that is between the car frame and the aluminium top plate.
